Peachstate Region Porsche Club Raises Money for Toys for Tots
Roswell, GA: The Peachstate Region Porsche Club of America hosted a special Toys for Tots fundraiser at their annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, December 12th. Autographed copies of a special collectible Porsche calendar titled When Giants Raced were sold with 100% of the proceeds donated to Toys for Tots. Total contributions exceeded the $2,000 mark. Major Tim Teed, USMC was on hand to speak to the guests and collect the proceeds. This 2010 calendar features 84 black and white images by Hal Crocker of the Porsche 917 and the men who made it epic. Crocker, a well-known motorsports photographer, captures this magic time in motorsports with his mastery of black and white photography making this calendar a real collectable for the Porsche enthusiast.
In the spirit of the season, Alan Kidson, owner and founder of German Car Repair, Inc., David and Susan Montanaro, owners of Performance Auto Collision, Inc., Lenny Deutsch, Jim Ellis Porsche, Hal Crocker, Team Unicorn, Jack Styles, Paul Russell and Company and Peachstate PCA sponsored this Toys for Tots fund raiser.
